Finding child care that meets your needs can be one of the most stressful decisions you make as a parent in the early years! There are so many child care options – play-based preschool, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, center-based care, home-based care – what does all of that even mean?? To add to the many child care options (and opinions!), finding clear, reliable, and practical information about what actually matters for your child can be surprisingly hard.
That’s exactly why Discoverfull was created. Discoverfull began with a simple purpose: to give parents evidence-based, practical resources about what high quality child care looks like and information about how to find a setting where your child feels safe, supported, and understood. Whether you’re exploring infant care, preschool programs, in‑home providers, or something in between, we’re here to help you make sense of it all.
Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to choose child care that fits your child’s personality and your family’s values. When parents feel informed, supported, and understood, the entire child care process becomes less stressful and finding a child care arrangement where your child will thrive becomes much easier to find.

Hi parents! I’m Krystal – a mom of two and a Developmental Psychologist specializing in Early Childhood Education. For more than a decade, I’ve studied how young children learn, grow, and thrive — and how the environments around them shape those early experiences.
Like many parents, I struggled to navigate the child care landscape when I was searching for child care for my own kids. I had the background and training, yet I found myself overwhelmed by the choices and the pressure to “get it right”. Through my work with families, educators, and child care programs, I realized just how common that feeling is – and how little clear, personalized, research-based guidance parents actually receive.
We created Discoverfull to change that.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between developmental research and real-life parenting decisions by giving families practical, compassionate, evidence-based support. We help parents understand what high quality care looks like, what questions to ask, and how to choose a setting that aligns with their child’s needs and their family’s values. Every child deserves a nurturing place to grow — and every parent deserves to feel confident in the choices they make.

Welcome to Discoverfull! in 2020 a journey began between two moms who wanted to create a platform for helping parents. What was once started as an NGO serving under privileged families has slowly developed into an online platform helping ALL families.
We wanted to bridge the gap between parents and quality resources. With the vast and unverified information that exists on the internet it’s hard for parents to navigate and verify each resource. Being a parent is time consuming enough, so we developed a way to streamline the information you need to effectively navigate your child’s education.
As the Director of Operations my focus is make sure Discoverfull operates at its full potential. Strategic partnerships, social media campaigns, and marketing are my foci.
