To add to the many child care options (and opinions!), finding clear, reliable, and practical information about what actually matters for your child can be surprisingly hard.
That’s exactly why Discoverfull was created. Discoverfull began with a simple purpose: to give parents evidence-based, practical resources about what high quality child care looks like and information about how to find a setting where your child feels safe, supported, and understood. Whether you’re exploring infant care, preschool programs, in‑home providers, or something in between, we’re here to help you make sense of it all.
Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to choose child care that fits your child’s personality and your family’s values. When parents feel informed, supported, and understood, the entire child care process becomes less stressful and finding a child care arrangement where your child will thrive becomes much easier to find.

Krystal Awadalla Ph.D.

Hi parents! I’m Krystal – a mom of two and a Developmental Psychologist specializing in Early Childhood Education. For more than a decade, I’ve studied how young children learn, grow, and thrive — and how the environments around them shape those early experiences.
Like many parents, I struggled to navigate the child care landscape when I was searching for child care for my own children. I had the background and training, yet I found myself overwhelmed by the choices and the pressure to “get it right”. Through my work with families, educators, and child care programs, I realized just how common that feeling is – and how little clear, personalized, research-based guidance parents actually receive.
We created Discoverfull to change that.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between developmental research and real-life parenting decisions by giving families practical, compassionate, evidence-based support. We help parents understand what high quality care looks like, what questions to ask, and how to choose a setting that aligns with their child’s needs and their family’s values. Every child deserves a nurturing place to grow — and every parent deserves to feel confident in the choices they make.

I’m Miraye—a mom of two wonderful children and a marketing specialist. Before becoming a mom, I found it relatively easy to access the information I needed to prepare for the journey ahead. Developmental milestones, feeding schedules, the best baby products—I thought the internet had it all.
That was until I needed to find quality child care for my own children. I found myself relying heavily on Google reviews, sifting through endless opinions—some helpful, many less so. What I couldn’t find was credible, evidence-based information to help parents evaluate the quality of child care and early education. Instead, I was left navigating a sea of reviews and recommendations from people without any expertise or knowledge.
Then I talked to Krystal, and realized just how much valuable information was missing for parents searching for the right child care program.
With her background in Developmental Psychology, Krystal explained the fundamental elements that support a healthy learning environment, the red and green flags to look for, essential questions to ask, and so much more.
It quickly became clear that our backgrounds complemented each other perfectly. With Krystal’s expertise in children’s development and my background in marketing, we could create something that was both informative and engaging—providing parents with evidence-based resources they could actually use.
