Our Story
The creation of Discoverfull started out with Krystal, Miraye and a shared vision. A vision to provide evidence-based resources on early childhood development to ALL parents.
Miraye, a new mom, eager to learn more about how to provide the best interactions that would support her baby in reaching her developmental milestones, sought out Krystal who holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology with a specialization in Early Childhood Development for educational consulting. Together they both quickly realized the lack of access to evidence-based educational resources, particularly for those parents that need the information most. Discoverfull’s programs grew organically from one to three. Each developed to target different audiences, in different areas, with a goal to provide information about the best interactions that support children’s optimal development.
Years of research, preparation, and practice made way for Discoverfull.

Hi there! My name is Krystal Awadalla and I am a Developmental Psychologist who specializes in Early Childhood Development and a mommy! My passion and life’s mission is to bridge the gap between research and practice by connecting parents with evidence-based resources on early childhood development so that they can use this information to help their children meet their full potential in life. My hope for Discoverfull is that we can translate the information that research shows is best for children’s development to easily understandable resources and materials that will help guide parents to provide high quality interactions that will support their children’s positive development. I hope that through our many programs, parents can see that learning through discovery can be wonderful as it helps children learn and grow!
